Don't panic! (26/365)

My project to do list is starting to freak me out....

I thought was fine because I have until the end of next week to do it all. Then I realised I don't have any free time between now and then to do any of it! I'll get it done but will probably have to put in some extra hours.

To do lists freak me out and just make me panic and achieve nothing. Very cool colours in this one thought, i love the orange desk colour as well.

I must say I am the opposite of Heather, To Do Lists help me slip into my comfort zone. I now have a new iPhone app called Things (free) that I can synch with a version for my laptop (about £30?) that organises to do lists in a delightfully fab way! Im in heaven. The thing I need to work on now is shortening my time making lists and increasing my time getting them done...

I start each day with one biggie and at least two small things to do. Once they're out of the way I feel successful already! Chip away at the list each day, don't look at the whole list each day, only prioritising a few things from it each day or you'll be paralysed with indecision which to do first. You'll feel its all much more achievable!

Good luck this week!

@Heather - I'm with Michelloui, I love to do lists if only to cross stuff out. The highlighter colours were to help me plan but I've boosted it all with an app called 'best camera'. I like how the desk came out too, but I'm glad it doesn't normally look that bright! If you click on the picture you can see the original in flickr in the comments

@Michelloui - a kindred soul! I have Todo because I can sync it for free with Toodledoo and then access that anywhere. I'm a big GTD fan, or at least I would be if I just took the time to put it all into place ;)

I'm not too worried, just one of those 'argh, whoops' moments. We were so efficient today I now have tomorrow morning spare. I also don't want to screw anything up because this assignment is up for renewal in a couple of months!

@SPD - what are we going to do with you? How do you cope in Staples?

I've come out in a cold sweat just looking at that list, never mind that you've free'd up a morning to deal with it.
